As a coastal hotel enthusiast, I found Barefoot Hills in Dahlonega, Georgia, to be a hidden gem nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains. the well-kept grounds and incredible mountain views offer a serene escape for nature lovers like me. the cozy cabin, although small, provided all the essentials for a comfortable stay, with a convenient grocery shopping service available. The welcoming staff and comfortable amenities made our stay truly enjoyable. the outdoor living spaces, including rocking chairs and a fire pit, offered a perfect spot to relax and take in the breathtaking surroundings. the location close to Georgia's wine country and outdoor activities like hiking on the Appalachian Trail added an extra layer of adventure to our trip. the serene nature, friendly staff, and proximity to local shops and dining options make it an ideal choice for those seeking a tranquil retreat in the heart of nature. I look forward to returning with friends to explore more of what this beautiful area has to offer.
